GM’s future? The Fuel Cell Equinox

Posted May 6th, 2010 in Chatter by Tom Taira

Will fuel cells be the next to kill the electric car?  Conventional wisdom says of course not.  GM has been talking about fuel cells for years and they have brought our more than a handful of concepts over the years.  What do you think the future of the fuel cell is?

Dude, who the hell cares what Helen Mirren thinks about this car? She probably doesn’t even drive in jolly good England. It looked like she was going to put her chin on the steering wheel she was up so close. Show us a video of the GoDaddy racing girl and get her opinion. If she sez it rides good, that’s another story.

While it’s certainly nice that fuel cells are on the horizon, we need something now! Seems like these cars have been on the road testing for years. We should require all taxis to be fuel cell or natural gas and force daily use of the technology. The govt should fund that instead of giving companies like Tesla a half a billion dollars of our hard earned money.

I agree with the post above – Helen Mirren? It’s like Ms Daisy driving around. who cares. Show me actual consumers who drive a lot and give us their feedback after several weeks of driving the car. What do these folks get out of this anyway?

    Peace out. Gab
