No more out-of-state tuition to pay. No more curfews to enforce. No more clothes to pick up off the floor.

If this sounds like the newly free you, then it’s time to start enjoying that empty nest and get out of the house more!

Many Baby Boomer parents kick off the empty nest phase of their life with a new car as a way to celebrate their freedom and to reward themselves for a job well done raising the kids. They’re eager to get out and enjoy themselves and they’ve got the means to trade in that old family car for something with a bit more flash.

But which car is the best car for you? Should you keep some of the practicality of your old family car or should you go extreme and buy a sports car? Maybe find a comfortable sedan for touring the country or a rugged utility vehicle for ski trips?

We searched through Honk to see which cars scored highest for parents like you who wanted to pamper themselves with a luxurious new ride. Below is a list of five of the best cars for Baby Boomers with an empty nest. You can view the entire list or build your own list on Honk.

.

Best Cars for Baby Boomers: Chrysler 300

“You just can’t help but feel cool when driving this car!” is how one owner summed up his Chrysler 300. It’s a refined sedan that brings a healthy dose of Rat Pack style back to America’s motorways. Beyond the handsome looks, owners love the optional Hemi V8 engine which burbles smoothly around town and roars like a beast at full throttle. With confident lines, a smooth ride, and a powerful engine, few cars embody the spirit of the all-American road trip quite like this Chrysler.

.

Best Cars for Baby Boomers: Lexus ES350

This Lexus is smoother than Mick Jagger working a room of groupies after a Stones concert. Owners note that the hushed cabin and unflappable ride make short work of long trips. “Love the pick up and attention to detail,” explained one owner, citing the premium appointments and abundance of technology. The quiet and understated ES350 comes across as part automobile, part sanctuary – a perfect way to preserve the peace and quiet you’ve no doubt earned.

.

Best Cars for Baby Boomers: Lincoln MKX

From its sparkling grille to its glitzy wheels, the Lincoln MKX certainly knows how to make an appearance. Beyond the extroverted styling, owners love the roomy back seat and panoramic moonroof. One owner said that his MKX had become the de facto choice for outings with friends, joking, “My friends refer to my Lincoln as ‘the jet’ because they feel like they’re flying first class when we take my car.”

.

Best Cars for Baby Boomers: BMW X6

With a unique blend of sport utility vehicle and luxury coupe, the BMW X6 is one of the most distinctive automobiles on the road today. Owners love the aggressive styling and powerful engines, explaining that the X6 was a smart alternative to buying a tiny and impractical sports car. This Bimmer is perfect for empty nesters who want to command respect at the valet stand but who also want the flexibility to bring friends or cargo along from time to time.

.

Best Cars for Baby Boomers: Cadillac CTS

Cadillac’s excellent CTS is a standout sensation among Baby Boomers. And with its handsome good looks and powerful engines, it’s easy to see why. The CTS impresses inside the cabin, as well, with a luxurious interior that’s roomier than all of its competitors. Cadillac also offers a beautiful CTS coupe and sport wagon for those who want to take the road less traveled. There’s also all-wheel drive for those who have to contend with snowy weather.

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of driving away in your first brand new car. Between the new car smell and the promise of road trips to come, that first big purchase is sure to make memories.

A new car is a symbol of success and of good financial stewardship. It celebrates your sense of style and reflects your personality. And assuming it’s well cared for, that vehicle will be with you for work and play for many years to come.

With new car season now in full swing, we were curious to see which vehicles were most popular among first time buyers. So we fired up the Honk search tool and honed in on young people who recently made that first big purchase.

Owing to economic conditions, we also added in a budget-friendly cap on price at $20,000. Practical sedans and minivans were banned because hey – it’s summer and we wanted to have some fun!

Our final list is full of coupes, hatchbacks, and trucks with plenty of personality. You can read about the Top 10 winners below or take in that new car smell with the complete list of Best Cars for First Time Buyers on Honk.

.

#1 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Scion tC

The Scion tC proves that you can drive a stylish car and still be able to make those student loan payment at the end of each month. This coupe is easy on the eyes and easy on the wallet. Owners brag about the tC’s panoramic moonroof and bumpin’ Pioneer audio system – both standard – making this Scion a great buy if you want a car that can spoil you without breaking the bank.

.

#2 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Jeep Patriot

Outdoorsy types love the Jeep Patriot for its ability to tackle adventures and stay composed in rough conditions. Road trips and ski trips will be frequent but trips to the gas station will not thanks to fuel economy that can range as high as 29 mpg on the highway. The Patriot is a great choice if you need extra cargo space for outdoor sports or large pets.

.

#3 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Honda Fit

Fun and flexible, the Honda Fit is loaded with more deep thinking than that philosophy class you took in college. The secret here is the ingenious second row “Magic Seats,” which can fold up or down to accommodate cargo of various shapes and sizes. Despite being small on the outside, the Fit has more cargo space inside than some SUVs. Owners rave that this Honda is fun to drive and has excellent fuel economy, making this hatchback good for the soul and easy on the wallet.

.

#4 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Nissan Versa

Compact on the outside and enormous on the inside, this Nissan is notable for space, space, and more space. Rear seat leg room is a step above anything else in the class, as is the quality of interior materials. For such an affordable car, the Versa impresses with high-quality cloth upholstery and premium plastics that are soft to the touch. Nissan didn’t skimp on technology, either: the Versa can be had with navigation, Bluetooth, and an Intelligent Key that lets you enter the car and start the engine without ever taking the key out of your pocket.

.

#5 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Ford Focus

If you’re the kind of person who is into the latest gadgets and technology, you’ll love the SYNC system that Ford has built into the Focus coupe and sedan. It’s a tethered system that connects to your mobile devices via Bluetooth or USB, allowing you to control your devices through simple voice commands. You can use SYNC to search through your music library or to have it read you an important email while you drive. And your inner environmentalist will be happy to know that the seat cushions in the Focus are derived from a bio-based polyurethane foam that’s derived from the oils of various plant seeds.

.

#6 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Volkswagen Golf

One look at the stunning interior in the Golf is all it took for reviewers on Honk to fall in love with this sleek and chic Volkswagen. The design is subtle and sporty with impeccable fit and finish and a level of refinement that betters some luxury cars. Owners love the feisty, fun-to-drive spirit and the ample cargo space. Volkswagen’s optional audio and navigation systems both come with crisp displays and an easy-to-use interface. There’s also an available TDI clean diesel engine that boasts up to 42 miles per gallon.

.

#7 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Scion xD

With funky styling and a long list of standard features, the Scion xD is a great value for grads who want to stand apart from the crowd. The hatchback bodystyle has lots of space for people and cargo and the four-cylinder engine was praised for a nice balance of power and fuel efficiency. Owner love the excellent value, noting that, “The xD also has the best price compared to other cars in its class, but offers more standard features.”

.

#8 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Nissan Frontier

Nissan’s Frontier packs fullsize features into a midsize truck. It’s the best choice here if you need a rugged vehicle that can tow a trailer or get you to the outdoors. There’s a choice of economical 4-cylinder or powerful 6-cylinder engine and a fully-boxed frame that allows the Frontier to tow up to 6,500 pounds. Owners love this Nissan’s many clever innovations, like a handy storage bin under the rear seats and a Utili-track system in the pickup bed that can make securing cargo a cinch.

.

#9 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Toyota Yaris

With highway fuel economy higher than that of some hybrids, the Yaris is a smart move if you’re looking to save money or the environment. In Europe, the Yaris won many awards when it was first launched, thanks to cheeky styling and fun handling. Owners rave about the value, too, pointing out a low sticker price that starts under $13,000.

.

#10 Best Car for First Time Buyers: Mitsubishi Eclipse

The Mitsubishi Eclipse is one of the best options for sleek and stylish transportation on a budget. The design is racy and the engine is thrifty – a great combination for anyone who wants to save money and look good in the process. The Eclipse impresses with a practical side, as well. That steeply-raked roofline hides a hatchback opening and fold-down rear seats that make it easy to bring bulky gear along for the ride.

Raising children is tough – and it’s many times tougher if you’re a single parent. You’ve got to balance a busy and complicated adult life with the health and happiness of your children.

Everything from getting your kid to school to finding time to run errands is harder when you don’t have a built-in support network. Fortunately, you’re not alone. According to recent data from the US Census Bureau, there are approximately 13.7 million single parents out there, raising over 26% of all children under the age of 21.

These hard-working Moms and Dads know what works best for their busy lives. And as a car-shopping website that’s serious about the people behind the wheel, we thought we could help by compiling a list of the most popular cars for single parents.

We searched through Honk to find single parents who recently purchased a new vehicle and then drew on their wisdom to help explain why these cars and trucks are so well suited to family life. The final top-10 list of Best Cars for Single Parents contains a variety of sedans, hatchbacks, trucks, and SUVs that range from about $13,000 to $24,000. If you’d like to create a more personalized list for yourself on Honk, just click here.

#1 Best Car for Single Parents: Kia Sorento

The most popular car for single parents is also the only one with 3 rows of seating, making the Sorento a great choice if you have two or more kids and need some extra space. This Kia is stylish and safe and with a starting price just shy of $20k, you’d never believe that the Sorento can also be had with premium features like an optional panoramic sunroof and DVD entertainment system. The only thing you’ll have to worry about is that you don’t spoil the kids.

.

#2 Best Car for Single Parents: Mazda CX-7

Can a family car be fun? Mazda says yes and proves it with the light-on-its-feet CX-7. Owners love the sleek styling and luxurious interior, calling this crossover “surprisingly sporty and refined.” If you need some extra oomph to get you to the ballet recital on time, the CX-7’s optional turbo engine can turn this family hauler into a serious speed machine.

.

#3 Best Car for Single Parents: Honda Civic

It’s hard to go wrong with a Civic. This best-selling Honda is known for rock-solid reliability and a design that is small on the outside but spacious on the inside. The Civic was also awarded a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, so you can rest assured knowing that your child is safe inside.

.

#4 Best Car for Single Parents: GMC Sierra 1500

With a sticker price that can jump from about $21k to over $40k, the Sierra is the priciest vehicle on this list. It is, however, your best choice if you need to haul large gear or tow a trailer. GMC offers a wide range of beds, cabs, and engines in the Sierra, though owners with families seem to agree that the spacious Crew Cab model is the best choice if you have kids.

.

#5 Best Car for Single Parents: Mazda 3

The Mazda 3 makes a strong case that a car can be “action-packed” and “value-packed” at the same time. Forget the $15k starting price because this Mazda’s confident road manners make it feel more like a junior sports sedan from Germany than a commuter car from Japan. Though a sedan model is available, the hatchback may be a better choice if you need extra cargo space for strollers or soccer gear.

.

#6 Best Car for Single Parents: Toyota Yaris

With highway fuel economy higher than that of some hybrids and a $13k starting price, this Toyota is a smart move if you’re looking to save money or the environment. In Europe, the Yaris won many awards when it was first launched, thanks to its cheeky styling and fun handling. The car comes in two versions, though cargo space is a bit more limited in the hatchback than it is in the sedan.

.

#7 Best Car for Single Parents: Jeep Liberty

If you’re a single parent who loves to venture outdoors, this is the best vehicle on the list for you. The Liberty is genuinely capable off-road and has over 60 years of mud-slinging Jeep heritage behind it. There’s an optional Sky Slider canvas roof that can peel back for a convertible feel and a UConnect media system that can organize your music and display photos of your kids.

.

#8 Best Car for Single Parents: Kia Forte

Kia’s brand new Forte – and its predecessor, the Spectra – earn Kia another spot on this Top 10 list. The Forte’s handsome looks come from celebrated car designer, Peter Schreyer, who is best known for his work on the stunning Audi TT and A3. Fortunately, beauty is more than skin deep on this new Kia thanks to a standard Bluetooth hands-free phone system and best-in-class 36 MPG highway rating. It’s a smart buy, too, with a starting price in the mid-$13k range and a 10-year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Your child’s college fund will thank you.

.

#9 Best Car for Single Parents: Toyota Corolla

After a long day of running around, it helps to have some space to stretch out. With an enormous 92 cubic feet of interior space, the Corolla lets you do exactly that. Owners love that this Toyota is a full package, bragging, “You cannot find a more sensible car in terms of price, style, value, design, fitness to any age, economy to operate, safety and fun.” And if that’s not enough to convince you, the Corolla was also honored with a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It’s no surprise that the Corolla landed on the Top-10 list of the most popular cars for single parents.

.

#10 Best Car for Single Parents: Nissan Cube

Just because you’re a single parent doesn’t mean you have to be boring. The Cube stands out with a funky asymmetrical design that’s sure to get a few admiring stares when you pull up at a traffic light. And thanks to six standard air bags and rear seats that can slide to make room for people or cargo, this Nissan is also a smart runabout for small families. The tight exterior dimensions can be deceiving, as one owner described his Cube, “It’s like the size of a house inside but looks like a compact on the outside.”

Big cities are full of life, culture, and fun things to do. But when it comes to driving in a city, anyone who’s ever struggled to find parking or been attacked by a gigantic pothole can tell you that urban centers can also be extremely tough on cars.

With almost 350 cars to choose from, are some vehicles better suited to life in a big city? We sorted out the urbanites from the suburbanites in the Honk database to find out which cars are most popular in the Big Apple, Windy City, City of Angels, and other major metro markets. You can read through our list of the Top 5 Best Cars for City Life down below or build your own list from scratch on Honk.

.

1. BMW 1-Series

The BMW 1-Series proved most popular with city-dwellers thanks to its ability to offer a premium driving experience in a compact package. BMW’s characteristic sporty moves are magic in this small coupe, helping owners dodge crazy taxi drivers, aloof bikers, and darting pedestrians. As one reviewer put it, “You get all the feel of driving a sports car without the lowdown seating.”

.

2. Audi A4

Sometimes you need an escape from all the hustle and bustle of city life. If you can’t make it to the Hamptons for the weekend, you might want to consider seeking sanctuary inside the beautiful cabin of the Audi A4. As the largest car in our Top 5, there’s ample room to stretch out and you’ll appreciate the comfortable ride if you venture out onto the street. The A4 is one of a few luxury cars to offer you the choice of an economical (but still powerful) 4-cylinder engine. “The turbo loves to kick in when I’m weaving in and out of traffic,” notes one happy owner.

.

3. Honda Fit

“This is one FUN car to drive!” brags an enthusiastic Honda Fit owner. Thrifty and thoughtful, the Fit is a fantastic companion for the city. It gets great fuel economy and has nimble handling to help you weave through crowded streets. Parking this urban runabout is a breeze – but don’t let those compact dimensions fool you… there’s more cargo space inside the Fit than in some small SUVs. The secret here is the clever back seat, which can fold up or down to accommodate cargo of various shapes and sizes.

.

4. Mini Cooper

Not every car lets you reenact a car chase from The Italian Job on your way home from work every day. The Mini Cooper has classic styling, a playful demeanor, and great parking karma. It’s an instant pick-me-up no matter what your mood. As one owner put it, “The Mini is perhaps the most emotionally satisfying car that I have ever owned. I highly recommend it.”

.

5. Smart ForTwo

If ever there were a car suited perfectly for life in a big city, the ForTwo is it. This Smart is the smallest car on the market and it can squeeze into tight parking spaces that even a Mini Cooper would pass up. Owners love that the ForTwo can be optioned up with heated seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and other penthouse features at a studio price.

Summer is here and that means that millions of families around the country are getting ready for road trips. If you’ve ever tried to travel with children, you know they need space…space for toys, space for snacks, and space to prevent fights in the back seat.

For many families, owning a minivan or SUV with three rows of seating is a necessity. But which ones are best suited for the job?

Since nobody is more in tune with these needs than Moms and Dads, we searched through Honk to find parents who had recently purchased a new family vehicle with top safety ratings and three rows of seating.

Here’s our list of the Top 10 Best Cars for Families, as determined by the families, themselves. You can also click over to Honk to see the full and complete list of the top-ranked cars for families or you can quickly and easily build your own list from scratch.

.

1. Honda Odyssey

The Odyssey has been a top choice for families for many years now, with owners raving about the handsome styling and car-like handling. “Acceleration is quite surprising,” boasted one reviewer.

This Honda is tough too, acing frontal and side-impact crash tests from both NHTSA and IIHS. There’s a wealth of family-friendly features, including available tri-zone climate control and DVD player. The interior has seats that can slide or fold flat for maximum flexibility in carrying people or bulky cargo.

As one reviewer put it, the Odyssey is, “a little more expensive than the competition, but more than worth the price.”

.

2. GMC Acadia

If a minivan is not quite your style, the GMC Acadia is a stylish alternative that doesn’t skimp on space or practicality.

Compared to full-size SUVs, the Acadia rides smoother and is lower to the ground so kids can easily climb in and out. GMC’s family-friendly vehicle has many thoughtful touches, like a second row seat that’s light enough for kids to operate and a low cargo loading height to help with loading strollers and soccer gear.

Power from the Acadia’s V6 engine is excellent and fuel economy is respectable for a vehicle of this size. You’ll also be pleased with the 5-star ratings for frontal and side-impact crashes.

3. Honda Pilot

Yep – Honda’s got another vehicle in the top five. It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s got seating for up to eight people.

Honda decided to target Dads rather than Moms when the Pilot was redesigned in 2009 and the resulting look is more testosterone-infused and industrial than its predecessor. Families love all the utility afforded by the Pilot’s strong, boxy shape. “I always have room for stuff/people, yet never feel like I’m driving a huge SUV – just what I wanted,” boasted one owner.

.

4. Acura MDX

Looking for a more luxurious way to transport your family? Acura’s MDX crossover vehicle seats seven and features a sophisticated all-wheel drive system that gives the car surprising agility on curvy roads.

Owners rave about the well-appointed interior and abundance of high-tech gadgets. There’s an available Blind Spot Information System that can alert you to vehicles in your blind spot and a Collision Mitigation Braking System that can sense an impending collision and then tug at the brakes and beep to warn the driver to take evasive action.

.

5. Mazda CX-9

Can a family vehicle be fun to drive? Mazda seems to think so and has endowed the CX-9 with some of its trademark Zoom-Zoom. “The chassis and suspension are well-sorted and it drives like a much smaller vehicle,” noted one owner.

Inside, you’ll find a beautiful cabin with a clever second-row seat that slides to allow easier access to the third row. The optional rear seat entertainment system includes a 115-volt power outlet and audio/video inputs so that the kids can bring along a home video game system for long trips. There’s also an advanced Blind Spot Monitoring system that uses radar to detect and alert you to vehicles that may be hiding just beyond your view.

.

6. Volkswagen Routan

You might be surprised to learn that this “German-engineered” minivan – through a partnership with Chrysler – is actually a Dodge Grand Caravan with a few important tweaks.

This is great news if you’re looking for a minivan with moves because VW re-tuned the suspension for a sportier ride. They also simplified the amount of options and made many helpful features standard. Dual power-sliding doors are standard on all but the base trim level, for instance.

You get the best of both worlds with the Routan: many years of minivan know-how from Chrysler and crisp styling and handling from Volkswagen.

And though the Routan may cost more than it’s counterpart from Dodge, you’ll get Volkswagen’s complimentary “CareFree Maintenance” plan which more than makes up for the price difference with free scheduled maintenance for the first three years of ownership.

.

7. Dodge Grand Caravan

The Grand Caravan was one of the very first minivans to hit the market when the modern segment was born in the 1980’s and Dodge has continued to innovate since then.

One of the most popular features is the standard “Stow ‘n Go” seating which allows the middle seats to be folded underneath the floor to make room for cargo. When the seats are up, their storage cubbies can be used to hide valuables. An optional “Swivel ‘n Go” seat allows the middle seats to face backward so that kids can play games together on long trips.

If you’re looking to save some money for the kid’s college fund, you’ll also appreciate that the Grand Caravan is the most affordable of all the full-size minivans.

.

8. Chrysler Town & Country

If there’s such thing as a luxury minivan, this is it. The Town & Country can be had with leather seats, a navigation system, power-adjustable pedals, three-zone automatic climate control, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Owners tell us that they were won over by the many multimedia options available to keep their kids happy (and quiet). This Chrysler has an optional DVD system, 3G-based wi-fi internet, and even a mobile television service that plays Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network. Where was all this stuff when we were kids?

.

9. Ford Flex

Sometimes taking the road less traveled is a very good thing. Ford challenged its designers to come up with a vehicle that was as practical as it was stylish and the result is the Flex. It’s boxy, it’s family-friendly, and it most definitely stands out. One owner bragged that her Flex “gets many questions and positive comments.”

Beyond the unique rectilinear look, the Flex earned its place in the top ten thanks to an enormous and very upscale interior. There’s a multi-panel Vista Roof option that bathes the cabin in natural light and Ford’s excellent SYNC system to manage your media and phone calls with ease. Kids will have plenty of space to stretch out in back and enjoy the DVD player.

If you’ve got older teenagers in the house, you’ll also love the MyKey safety system which allows you to set limits on the top speed and maximum volume for the audio system before you send Junior out on the road.

.

10. BMW X5

Coming in at the number ten spot is BMW’s spirited X5. It may cost a pretty penny – starting price is around $47k and can quickly balloon past $60k with options – but this Bimmer can haul your family and carve corners with equal ease.

The parents who chose this BMW love the composed handling and aggressive looks. One reviewer explained that the X5 “makes you feel good. It’s cool and savvy. It exudes confidence.”

Due to a tight third-row seat, the X5 falls a bit short on family duty. But if you’ve got a small family and only need to use the third row occasionally, this BMW’s taut moves and undeniable curb appeal will win you over.

Spring is finally here. Birds are chirping, flowers are in bloom, and thousands of new college grads are anxiously waiting to throw their hats in the air.

Here at Honk HQ, we decided to get ready for commencement day by heading to the library and researching the most popular cars for new grads.

Our final paper is full of coupes, sedans, and hatchbacks with plenty of personality. Compared to previous years, however, you may notice that this list of top cars for the Class of 2010 comes up short on pickup trucks and SUVs.

Given their general sensitivity to the environment and the sky-high fuel prices this class experienced at the end of their Sophomore year, the shift to smaller and more fuel efficient cars makes a lot of sense. Who wants to spend hard-earned cash on a gas guzzler when there are expensive student loans to pay off?

What you’ll find in place of off-roading gear is technology – and lots of it. Gadgets and software are a way of life for these members of the Echo Boom generation and it shows in their vehicle choices.

The winning Mazda 3 on this year’s list can be had with a Bluetooth hands-free phone system, satellite-based navigation system, keyless engine start, rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic climate control, and high-intensity discharge headlights that can swivel to illuminate corners at night. These kinds of features used to be reserved for mom’s Mercedes, not fuel-sipping junior sports sedans.

So finish cleaning out your dorm room and take a look at Honk’s 21 Best Cars for College Grads:

We’ve got some pretty awesome neighbors here at Honk HQ in San Francisco. MySpace, Photobucket, and IGN have offices just down the hall and we’re within walking distance to the folks at Current, Wired Magazine, and Twitter. As a shout-out to our tech-savvy neighbors, we decided to research the Top 33 cars for gadget lovers and technophiles.

We dug into the Honk database to search for car buyers who placed a lot of weight on technical innovations and high-quality infotainment systems when they chose their rides.

The list is full of hybrid-electric vehicles like the Toyota Prius and Ford Escape Hybrid, no doubt due to their advanced fuel-sipping powertrains. Other vehicles that scored well, like the Lincoln MKS and Acura TL, are known for their exceptionally crisp audio systems.

Several family haulers made the list thanks to their kid-friendly DVD systems, auxiliary inputs for video game systems, and power doors.

High-end luxury vehicles on the list impressed with their state-of-the-art active safety features. The BMW 7-Series, for example, offers an infrared night vision system that can detect and track pedestrians near the roadway. And the Infiniti FX offers an Intelligent Brake Assist function that can automatically sound a warning and then apply the brakes if a collision becomes unavoidable.

Today’s cars are undoubtedly high-tech and they are getting better and better with each new model year. Electronic stability control, a life-saving feature that prevents cars from sliding out of control, will become mandatory for all new cars in 2012. Mobile phone integration continues to advance, too, with audio streams that can be played over the car’s speakers via Bluetooth.

If you’re a gadget-lover, check out these Top 33 Cars for Techies:

Which cars do dad’s, both young and old, find most attractive? Some of the answers may surprise you a bit. Get this one… the Nissan Cube is #3 on the Honk list. And while many people think this car is unsightly, it’s easy to recognize that polarizing cars mean some people will actually love it. It’s a statement car for sure. Since this list is based on people who actually purchased the cars, it is really based on buyers of their cars and how much more do they love the design than others (we index off a baseline and then take the most beloved and rank them). So while you may not love the Cube, it is certainly ADORED by those who own them. The results came from over 5,000 Dads!

Side note: We have some incredible data over at Honk that enables us to take a peek at answers to very specific questions from our users. All of our lists are based on actual consumer input and is not conjured up by a bunch of gear heads on a computer. We are committed to enhancing our user experience by blending interesting data with tools. Go ahead and take a look. If there’s a burning question or a fun list you’d like us to pull, we’d be happy to give it a shot! In the near future, we will be actively posting these lists and they will dynamically be part of our search tool (launching in February).
